[Vancouver, BC โ€“ June 6] โ€“ Optima Living is proud to unveil a refreshed brand identity that reflects the organizationโ€™s growth, purpose, and continued commitment to residents, families, and team members across Western Canada.

What began as a simple sketch between two foundersโ€”on the back of a napkin over coffeeโ€”has become a leading provider of Independent Living, Assisted Living, Supportive Living, and Memory Living communities. Optima Livingโ€™s expansion from one residence to 40 across Alberta and British Columbia underscores a growing need for high-quality, thoughtful seniorsโ€™ housing in Canada.

Now, Optima Livingโ€™s new visual identity honours that original vision while embracing a bold future.

โ€œOur journey started with a heartfelt sketch that captured our dream of creating a better way to age,โ€ said Farid Damji, Co-Founder and Principal. โ€œThat dream has become reality, and this new brand honours our past while symbolizing the resident-centred approach that is at the core of all that we do.โ€

The updated logo retains the iconic mountain imageryโ€”representing resilience, strength, and the companyโ€™s Western Canadian rootsโ€”but with a modernized look. A warm, approachable typeface, a nature-inspired colour palette, and a central human figure reflect Optima Livingโ€™s focus on clarity, connection, and care.

โ€œThis rebrand is more than a design updateโ€”itโ€™s a reflection of who weโ€™ve become and where weโ€™re going,โ€ said Karim Kassam, Co-Founder and Principal. โ€œAs we grow and welcome new communities and team members into the Optima family, we remain anchored by our purpose: to ensure every person feels safe, respected, and truly at home.โ€

At Optima Livingโ€™s communities across Western Canada, seniors receive care and support that meet their unique needsโ€”from active, independent lifestyles to specialized memory care. This growth has been powered by long-term partnerships and a shared belief in the enduring value of mission-driven senior living.

โ€œWe are proud of the trust weโ€™ve built with residents, families, and partners,โ€ said Ali Shivji, Principal focused on growth and expansion. โ€œThis new look represents the confidence of our partners and the deep relationships weโ€™ve formedโ€”and it paves the way for continued impact as we scale our vision across Canada.โ€

As the organization continues to expand, Optima Living remains deeply committed to what matters most: people, place, and community. Every community is designed to foster a true sense of homeโ€”where residents feel a strong connection to those around them, where team members are valued, and where every space is built to support belonging, purpose, and care.

At the heart of Optima Livingโ€™s brand remains its North Star: Let us welcome you home. That guiding statement continues to shape every interaction and every decision, across every community.
